Sefa Partnerships Management Update

By Alice Brennan, Head of Innovation - Sefa Partnerships

As we move into the third quarter of 2024, we’re excited to share some updates on our Sefa Partnerships and the positive changes we're driving for our partners and the communities we support.

Collaboration Highlights

We're pleased to report that we have expanded our active collaborations and we are now supporting seven for-purpose organisations who are reducing disadvantage in Australia:

  • We are partnering with Regen Labs, our old office-mates from back in the Zero Carbon Hub at WWF days, on an initiative to design and develop a bespoke, place-based capital product for regenerative enterprises.

  • Our team have been supporting Amplify as they prepared for their launch on August 27th, by helping them prepare for their innovative and highly ambitious national deliberation on the housing crisis.

Team News

We're excited to announce that we have welcomed a new staff member to Sefa Partnerships - Jennifer Jones! Jennifer brings a wealth of experience in international development, blended finance and child protection. She is also a qualified social worker. Jennifer has won awards including the Singapore National Committee for UN Women and MasterCard Asia Region for her work on designing and implementing an innovative financial literacy program.

Welcome Jennifer!

Looking Ahead

As we navigate the evolving landscape of social impact, we remain committed to our mission of reducing disadvantage and distress for all Australians. We are actively exploring how we can create the greatest impact by partnering with social innovators and forward-thinking philanthropists to create meaningful, sustainable change.

Thank you for your continued support and trust in our vision. Together, we're building a more equitable future for Australians.
