Support and finance for for-purpose organisations
With support from Queensland Treasury's Financing Growth Fund (FGF), and the Office of Social Impact (OSI) Sefa is pleased to offer for-purpose organisations across metro, regional and rural Queensland access to hands-on advisory and capability building support and flexible loans.
Locked out of the finance you need to scale your impact?
We hear time and time again that for-purpose organisations across Queensland are considered too small for institutional investors, too complex for standard bank lending, or they find themselves relying on short-term grants.
All of this means that they struggle to plan ahead, and meeting their next impact milestone feels out of reach.
If you've got plans to grow, Sefa has support and finance that can help you get there.
How much finance do you need?
Through support from the Financing Growth Fund, Sefa provides free tailored capability building and access to loan finance to help you reach your next goal. Choose the pathway that sounds most appropriate and we'll be in touch to explain your options.

FAQs
The Sefa team will be in touch with you when the program officially opens before the end of 2026.
We'll find out more about you and your organisation and share information about the options available to you.
Once you're part of the program, you'll receive tailored one-on-one support from Sefa through regular working sessions.
We'll work with you to refine your plans, explore opportunities, strengthen your financial foundations and build confidence in your organisation's next steps.
We'll also help you understand how flexible finance can support your growth goals and discuss what options are available for your organisation to apply for.
The amount of finance you can apply for will depend on your organisation's needs, stage and what you intend to use the finance for.
Growing organisations who have been operating for 2 years may be eligible to apply for a loan of $50,000 - $200,000
Established organisation with larger-scale needs may be eligible to apply for a loan of $200,000 or more.
Once the program opens, the Sefa team will match you to the most appropriate opportunity for your organisation.
Of course, but grants should just be one part of your income. To be eligible for the program, your organisation will need to have a track record of trading revenue.
